Today being the second day back to school, but our first english class, we found out how we went in our practise exam. A bit of background.

Throughout the year we had to read 3 texts. We read:
Stolen (A play about the Stolen Generation with Aboriginals)
The Girl with the pearl earring (17th Century Arty Farty shit)
The 3rd Man (This book was just a guide and instead we watched the movie.)

Now the exam we did was split into two parts.
PART 1
Part A was an essay on one of the texts of our choice.
Part B was an essay on a different text of our choice.

They could NOT be the same text for both essays, And we had to do one essay on The 3rd Man as it was also a SAC.

Part A I did “Stolen”
Part B I did “The Third Man”

Part 2 Media Response. The issue was RANDOM DRUG TESTING IN THE WORKPLACE
Part A Was Analyse Media, whether this be a newspaper article or website or anything like that.
Part B Opinionated, but whether you agree with the question.

Part A is the one I can not stand, I HATE THIS PART. So it was a quick fuck up.
Part B is my favourite cos I get to have my say. Anyways this one had two options. A) was to write a speech or B) To write a feature article for a newspaper.
I couldn’t figure out which one to do, so i didnt write which one i did as it could of gone as either.

Results.
Part 1
Part A. Anyone in my English class that also wrote on Stolen, Regardless for either Part A or B in Part 1 has been told not to write on it in the exam as they messed the characters up and the plot lines up. However, I am allowed to write on it as mine was the best and I didn’t miss anything.

Part B. I messed this one up, it was on “The 3rd Man” and while doing this essay one cunt of a kid decided to make noises and sing and clap and hit the desk and talk and laugh. Teachers told him to shut up but he laughed in their faces. After a while i lost concentration, which showed in said essay and I eventually turned around told him to shut the fuck up before i make him and he kept doing it. So I walked out. English exams you must stay for the whole 3 hours. But once my english teacher saw me out and found out what happened she was really good and let me come in on the holiday to do PART 2.

PART 2
Part A. Really screwed this one up, I hate this part and I know this is where I will lose marks. But I will practice and meh.

Part B. I didnt know how to write this one, so i decided to write a scenario and give the reader an identity.(this can be found on my website soon) I gave an extreme case of what could happen if there was no random drug testing, but it got my point across. This was the best one my teacher had read and she read it out to the class.

This makes me happy, as English is my worst subject, but out of four essays i got two top marks.

However if the fuckers in my english class walk in and do the whole scenario thing in the real exam im going to scream cos THATS MY FUCKIN THING.
