So now it is a new year. It almost means a fresh start, and in some respects it is. I’m older, although none the wiser, I start school again very soon, and I’m still me.

The holidays were great. Road trips consisted of places such as Phillip Island, Apollo Bay and Wilson’s Prom. It was an interesting escape.  Apollo Bay bought back so many memories. The last time I had been there was when I was 12, My first taste of freedom.  It was a time where it was just me, and my bike. Did I mention there were also 4000 other people who I didn’t know and 1000k’s to home?

Phillip Island was another place full of memories, although I had never spent much time on the island, I spent alot of time at Coronet Bay at a family friends holiday house.  A 50 meter walk to the beach in Easter, and yet we would still swim, that is if we were not out in the boats fishing.

Wilson’s Prom was somewhere I had never been before, or I was too young to remember. It was nice, I’m not sure if I would go again just for a day though.

My birthday was nothing.  This was I think the first time, that not only had many friends forgotten about it, but so had many family members.  I really wanted the day to be over, and the whole Christmas thing to end.

As for school. I guess I did ok.  My score for Inter Studies wasnt as good as what I had wanted, but Im redoing this year as it will pair well with Politics. As well as picking up Legal and redoing English just because I didnt bother with the english exam many years ago.

However, now that I know that I can study, and at my own pace, I can’t wait to begin class again in three days.
