School is in!

School is in! First term is nearly finished. So far it is swimmingly swell. Although there has been a major issue with one of my subjects, which is affecting another subject. More detail later on in this post.

I’ve found that I like all my teachers, at least the ones that we didn’t get fired. My English teacher loves my argumentive essays. Who knew sarcasm could get you a high score? International Studies is meh, It’s boring right now as its the same shit as last year, But I do have that heads up over others. Infact, our first test was last night. I have no idea how I did in it, and I dont particularly care. The first test is always the worst.

I’ve already done tests in Legal and English, Politics isn’t until next term, and that is only if we have a teacher by then. I have another English test tomorow which is on that shitty novel nineteen eighty four. I don’t really care about the so called love between Winston and Julia.

Now for the time consuming fucking around with my education story.

At the start of the year, it was decided that the idiot who would take the night class of legal, would also take politics. That would be fine, if she knew how to teach.

She never came to the class with a text book, refused to teach us basic stuff, that if the subject was avaliable at a lower level we would have done it before hand. She pretty much from the get go told us to teach ourselves. She never wrote on the board, so we have no notes, and no knowledge. I was lucky though, I managed to get a transfer out of her shitty legal class to the morning legal class.

On one hand its good as its a different teacher who can teach and rewrote the text book so its compact and easier to find the shit you need, on the other hand though, it has left me with a 12 hour day and its a morning class. So Thursday is now a 9am-9pm of class. I’m not a morning person I’ve never been on time to that class, except last week, and I consumed 2 coffee’s, a bottle of coke and 2 red bulls in order to try and wake up enough. Weirdly enough, I concentrated so much in that class I was the only one who knew the constitution and referendums.

So Thursday nights are Nat Pol classes, that would be fine again if there was a teacher and if the class wasn’t canceled. It’s at the point now where we not only spent 4 weeks with this dumb twit and learn’t nothing, we have also lost two classes and are expected to make them up somewhere along the line.  If they find a new teacher, they have to teach us from the start, which not only puts strain on them, it also puts it on us as the third week in we are supposed to have a test on half of the text book(which is poorly written with no explanations)

How did she get fired? It was a forced resignation bought on by the weekly complaints of those who were left in the class. Every week, one by one, we would put in a complaint.  On the day she resigned, we were in contact with lawyers to write up a letter saying that everyone who is left, will go elsewhere at the cost to the school, if this issue is not resolved.

We never had to write that letter, she resigned before we had the chance to. Now they are trying to find someone to take the class, and if they cant we have to be transferred as a group to somewhere else who does it, and not many institutions do it, and school has to pay for it all.

As no one seems to know exactly what is going on, we were told she was returning to take the class for the rest of the term, which ended up being a lie. No one knows if they are looking for a teacher or if they have a few people lined up or what. I’ve sent a letter to the director informing her that it would be nice if the director could meet the class and have a talk about everything that has gone on as this is affecting alot of people. Im yet to hear back from her.

Anyways, I think everything will work out okay, I’m suffering from exhaustion at the moment, more then likely because im not sleeping enough or eating enough.
