Steve.
So Steve Irwin is dead. I’ve been a fan of his ever since he first appeared on the tele. I remember people saying he wouldn’t last because he was too australian and fake. But he wasn’t. Those who know me, know I have an absolute love for snakes, crocs and great white sharks. I love these creatures because of Irwin. I’m not an animal person, infact I can not stand the bloody things, well no, I can’t stand pets. Dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, birds and so on. If it’s wild I love it. I remember one episode of Steve up in the Northern Territory, in his little boat with his dog Sue looking for cros. And he happened to stop at a tree because it had a little green snake in it. And it bit him on the nose(This is the green snake biting him on the nose which has been shown on tele in the clips of Steve)
I remember when he also went to the Nile, laying on the edge of the water watching the crocs eating a dead hippo and so on.
Now a few people have read my story I wrote about Steve Irwin visiting Bourke Street in Melbourne. This story, was written in a funny light. It wasn’t picking at Steve, It was placing him in his job in a natural environment and him “teaching” you about it. So if people read it, and think it was a dig at Steve. It wasn’t.
I was planning to be in Queensland around now, was talking about it back in March. And the one I only wanted to go to in QLD was Australian Zoo. Which, when I do finally get up there, I will still visit. I just wont be able to meet the man who introduced me to ugly looking creatures that I fell in love with.

Australia Zoo is fucken awesome. It might not have as many animals as say Taronga Zoo or Melbourne zoo, but the layout is much better. they have shows on each hour in a different section of the zoo explaining different animals.
Actually after going to Austrralia Zoo I have no desire to re-visit Melbourne Zoo or Toronga Zoo.
About Steve, I remember this episode where he was in South Africa or something and he was jumping from tree to tree to catch these bit green snakes. It was awesome.
