My Software must have list.
I know, people always have a very long post outlining what Firefox extensions and themes they use. However, I have a software list. I may include Firefox extensions in this as well though.
1. Top off the rank is indeed FireFox. I find that although FireFox may use more CPU then Internet Explorer. It has less flaws and never crashes for me. Not only that, you can have a basic browser, and then add features of what you want or need into it. You have the option to customize it.
2. Firezilla. one of the easiest FTP programs I have ever encountered. Sure there are other free ones out there, but to use all their features you have to pay for it, or crack it.
3. Spybot Search and Destroy. I dont use this as much as I should, but when diagnosing a problem and any computer, this is one of the first programs I reach for.
4. I’ve only just started to use Email Clients. Infact, I dont really use email. I find it tedious. If I want to tell a friend something, I will pick the phone up. However, I have started to use it, and I use Mozilla Thunderbird.
5. Image software, I use ULEAD Photo Impact 12, as well as Paint.net and Photoshop. Although I dont use Photoshop too much.
6. I login on msn, however i dont really use it. I use Skype more then anything. as well as mIRC
7. Google Earth One of the best programs I have ever been introduced to. Although back when it first came out, I was on dialup and could not use it to its full potential like I do now.
8. Down2Home, I like to keep a tab on how much traffic does come through my computer, However it is also on the other computer in my house.
9. Desktop Sidebar Comes in handy with its little features.
10. Rainlendar, like the desktop sidebar, however its little boxes on your desktop.
11. Itunes, Ive only just really started to use this program. I download podcasts on it, however the one gripe I do have with it, is to even RATE a free podcast, you have to sign up with a credit card. This limits its usersbase and its functionality.
