A great weight was lifted from my body the other day. I sent an email to someone and told them something I should have told them many years ago.  It doesn’t matter if they read the email or not, I just had to do it for me. I had to get it out of me. I had to admit something to someone, anyone, who could have helped me so much more many years ago.  I wont discuss what this thing was, because it is not something I would admit in an open medium, it would cause too many complications for me.

I remember the night clearly.  It was a nice summers night, In a small country town.  Warracknabeal to be exact. Population just over 2000. But it has four pubs. What is it famous for? Nick Cave unfortunately. Did you know he will bring Kylie Minogue and Snoop Dog to the town if they erect a statue of him?  Im sure it can go on the third roundabout in town, not the one with the sheep and the dog, or the one with a dog on a box that has a big dick and set of balls.

One thing I have learnt about this job is that when something happens, no matter how big or small, everyone finds out about it. Even those who do not work here, or the other shop. I suppose that is what happens with family businesses though. Here I am, walking into one business and working more hours then family members are, and then working in their other place, which is this one, and about to get more hours. My boss is married to my other boss. my first boss’s sister works for her sister, and her brother in law. Which means all up that is three businesses right there.

So, I have a new job. I have had for a few weeks now. Its a good job. I dont have my boss around me all the time. although we are in constant phone contact cos we are friends as well. and the hours are fantastic! I get to sleep in. Well, I would, except my boss’s husband is also my boss for my other job. 3 days a week in a bottle shop by myself, again with no boss around.

The boss and I never used to get along, but ever since we decided to do radio on BBBA I’ve been nicer to people from there and the boss and I talk. So now I have a job. Which…

Funnily enough, I have a job. piss easy work, for piss easy money. I dont have a boss, I have working hours that I can pretty much choose.
